Left, the truth is, some days I feel like a wreck and I'm definitely no "supermom", but DH and I feel like we're supposed to have a big family, and there are definitely some perks to having them close together.

But if I survived a 4, 3, 2 and newborn, then I'm sure you could do it, Left!

Just wanted to update....I saw my hematologist today. I have a blood disorder where basically my bone marrow makes small, abnormally shaped red cells. Normally I'm slightly anemic but no big deal. Iron doesn't help in this disorder because my iron is normal and my cells don't use it well. In pregnancy this causes some issues though. Normal hemoglobin is 12 and higher. With my first pregnancy I got a blood transfusion at 22ish weeks when hemoglobin was down to 8.5. (No problems with my last pregnancy.) Well today it's already down to 10.3...preparing myself that this will be a rougher pregnancy with this issue. Also concerned as I have the anti-kell antibody (as some of you may remember). It *shouldnt* cause an issue but my titer (level) is extremely high now. It was 1:8 at this point with ds2 and is 1:256 today. In addition to genetic testing in 2 weeks I'll start regularly seeing the MFM. I will be getting blood draws every 1-2 weeks and then getting a transfusion when hemoglobin is too low. I feel like it's a lot to concern myself with when I still don't even have tons of faith I'll make it out of first tri

I'm a basket case too because I also started weaning my progesterone today. I think I've decided to wean to one suppository at night for a week then do every other night. My OB said go off cold turkey but I'm so anxious I think this will be better for my mental health.

Aww this is a lot of extra worry xxx Very reassuring they are keeping such a close eye though. Will you get fortnightly scans as well?

I reckon it's a no3 thing. They say it's always the wildcard! Mine was complicated for no reason whatsoever, he barely clung on 7-22w when I pouring with blood daily, the bleed got between the sacs and became sub-amniotic at one stage. I then became a medical marvel for junior doctors to visit, as he had (a) hung on and thrived (b) I somehow avoided a transfusion. Then I had a water leak and low fluid at 24w which somehow sorted itself out by 3rd tri and then to top it off he decided to come at 35 weeks with a completely disastrous birth experience!!! I'm hoping this one is a touch more straight forward

TTC, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all this extra worry! I'll keep you and your LO in my prayers.

Dan-o, I think you're right about the third baby being the wildcard, because my third came at 35+0 (thankfully without all the drama that yours put you through before birth, though!)

TTC, I had a dream about you last night. You were coming to Salt Lake and you asked me if I could pick you up from the airport. You had three little boys with you, and the youngest was a baby. ❤

I hope you're doing well and not stressing too much.
