OPK darkness question

Hi hope someone can help me here....

Is an OPK test still positive if its as dark as the test line but half the width?

Or does it have to be as dark (or darker) and the same size line?

There tends to be a darker thin bit down one side of the line, if that's what you mean? If that bit is as dark or darker, it's positive.

Sorry to be a pain, I'm just doing one every day as im not 100% sure on this weird cycle im having.

I've just dug it out of the bin & on closer inspection (aside from the fact it's now damaged) I think it's just me being dim.

It seems to have faded a bit now its gone over the 30 mins (mind U my pee was a bit diluted) & the original 2nd line came up really quickly, not like normal. Maybe a dodgy test??

I'll try not to pee for a few hours and retest, then post a pic for you to see.

If I am coming into an LH peak, I don't want to miss the chance of catching an eggy!!!

Theres me thinking I was probably 12DPO, do'h!!!!

If you get a line...any line, it is picking up lh in your system. However, you need to get a line or just a border on the line as dark as the control line to successfully predict your ovulation.

Here are the OPK's from my last few days. The first one from 18/09 is my regular daily shade of line (barely visible)

I had a similar peak 14 days ago, but after one +OPK it went back to negative again the next day.

Incidentally I also got a faint line on a HPT this morning!!! Fingers crossed!!!

I'd say 22/09 is positive. Definitely!

Welll, in that case, chances are the OPK's are picking up the HCG!

Hiya, here you go

Taken with & without flash after a couple of minutes.
All of todays tests have dried with a very light pink line (like my regular OPK's) rather than the usual grey evap.

And here are the ones taken later on in the evening..
