Sorry for your loss, Fngrs!! Fortunately (aside from my cp), I have not had any really recent losses... at least not people who were really close to me, but in the 9 yrs we've been married, we've been to at least 15 family funerals, and there were several we didn't make it to... So I know how it is. Thanks for the charting info. I don't know if I'll ever chart. I was really frustrated with the couple days I tried because of my bad thermometer. As for me, I guess I'd still consider me at a light flow at most. I tested yesterday with an ic and it was bfn... this was right before the spotting turned heavier. I don't see how it could be ib, but I'll test again if the bleeding doesn't pick up and stops soon. I didn't bleed at all that I could tell overnight, but it came again around 11 a.m. I think. I just suspect it's slow to start still. If it's not heavy by tomorrow night, I would consider that weird. I mean, once it starts, I'm wearing depends for a couple days and wouldn't dare go to bed even with double pads. Right now, the toilet water isn't even pink... lol... tmi but I'm sure you know what I mean. |

Fngrs-Sorry for your loss. And if the doc prescribes progesterone then i will tell her i want the suppositories. Thanks for the info! Also, i love how a pic of your chart is in your sig..how did you do that? Minuet-I dont know if i said welcome but WELCOME L.E.-i know what you mean about the toilet being pink. Well mines look more like a massacre whenever my af is here AFM, its cd3 for me. I took my temp today and it was 97.63. Well, now its a good thing i am going to start temping from this day on because now I know that even my AF TEMPS are in the pre-ov AND ov range |

Happy Resurrection Day (Easter)! Mzswizz, I really hope you get that job! I've been considering going back to work to help out financially, but I want very specific (and only a few) hours, so I'm not sure how that will work out. I know what you mean about the massacre lol. I was anemic for years because of my bad bleeding. I shouldn't love Depends as much as I do at 29 yrs old haha. Mine now is still sporadic... brown/pink or nothing most of the day with 1-2 times of heavy spotting/light bleeding. I haven't made it to a regular flow at all yet, let alone my normal super-heavy couple of days. If this goes on past the 8 day mark, I will probably call my doc about starting Provera again and starting Clomid. My Wondfo looked negative today, so I can only assume it's a weird AF. I'm really hoping that's what it is and I go on to have a more normal cycle. |

Yeah I think the microscope is cool, however it isn't as easy as the company says. For one thing, the ferning doesn't look the same for everyone. I look down it and am sure I see partial, but it doesn't look like their picture. HOWEVER when I first used it while AF was here, there was nothing there, and now it is busy with lines and etc etc. Anyway I could be doing it all wrong lol. Opks are driving me crazy as I keep getting almost positives and then going back to faints. I'm also tired of using cups and strips and bleh. I sure hope it's close to O! This is my first cycle tracking all this stuff and I'm getting burnt out waiting for that elusive halfway mark. Good for you not using Opks, I can see now why some women hate using them.

I've never heard that before about temps in the 97s. Why is it a bad thing to have temps consistently that high, and how does it signal a progesterone problem? That's really intriguing and I'd love to learn more. The potential job sounds terrific, I hope you get it!

It seems as though if I get pregnant someone dies!! Seriously, last month my Aunt MIL passed then I found out I was pregnant. I knew her for a while (I was a child when I met her say about 3 or 4) but we weren't close. My dad requested that I go to her funeral, but I didn't. I hope it isn't a slow start... About TMI, I don't believe in anything being TMI. We are all ladies and adults alike. There is nothing that you can or should be able to say on here that anyone should find offensive or gross. I don't believe in being polite about anything that goes on with the body. We are all TTC and should be able to be graphic without anyone being "ewwww" about anything. So talk to me however you need to.

I think that's a good idea to wait and have 2 charts to take with you. It allows them to have more info. I bet because you are going to try to get two charts in you are going to get your BFP this cycle About the Maternity leave...every job legally has to give tou maternity leave it's called The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) it grants 12 weeks unpaid time of for maternity (prebirth) and postpartum. However you want to split it up you can, as long as it's 12 weeks. Two of my friends worked until the week before delivery and used the rest of the time (11 weeks) for postpartum to care for the baby. So if you have the energy to keep working until close to delivery then I say go for it!! I was taken out of work for bedrest with my DD and DS#2. So there went my "maternity leave". lol I usually temp during AF..It makes me feel like I am actually making progress on my chart and then I have a general idea where my temps were during it.

L.E. yes my cycles have been super heavy ever since i had a d&c. Im use to it now but i just hate looking down and thinking oh my goodness how come i didnt pass out with all that blood coming out my body Minuet-Well my normal temps are in the 97 range like pre-ov temps and I temp vaginally. So its expected to be a little higher than my normal pre-ov temps when I was temping orally. But the issue is if my pre-ov temps are in the 97 range, then my ov temps should be higher because progesterone kicks in and it increases the temps after ov. But since my temps stay in the 97 range that must mean that there is a progesterone issue because something is causing it to not kick in and my temps to increase. But when i know exactly whats going on with at the doc after this cycle. I can get more in-depth with the situation. Fngrs-I know what you mean about funerals. I dont really go to funerals because I dont like to see my loved ones like that. I want to remember them as being happy and laughing etc not picture them sleeping forever. Plus i really dont do well in depressing environment. I rather be happy then to cry but i think i get that from my dad because he is the exact same way. I was pretty much raised by my dad (hence why im the female version of him) even though my parents were married and living together..i spent more time with my dad then mom because we didnt get along. But i've been through the funerals. Both my grnadmothers died 7 months apart from each other and the same exact way. I was an emotional wreck. Good thing my DH was there to help lift me up but we were only dating at that time. I believe that when someone dies that means someone is getting pregnant. Because i think God takes a soul and to bring another into the world. Its sad seeing someone pass but just know they are in a better place and living worry free. My condolences AFM, its cd4 for me. Just so happens..my temp today is the same exact temp I had for ov day last cycle. When i reach cd8..im going to do a little experiment and add these temps to last cycle and see if it says I o'd on cd24. This is pretty much the boring phase until I hit cd8. Nothing much going on except im having my menses, cramping and moody but of course thats normal when AF is around. Im taking my prenatals daily and taking my temp daily. I didnt temp on cd2 because when i started the flow, i decided to just wait until the bleeding stopped but on the night of cd2, my dh told me i should just temp from the beginning so i can atleast have something to go by when i go to the doc..so i started taking my temp again yesterday. This morning I woke up to take my temp and dh wanted me to put the alarm on for 7 for him so i said i can do it and he said go take your temp |

Well now, I would have taken that microscope to be easier. What kinds of opk's are you using? I would call the manufacturer ans see what percentage of the line has to be darkest to be a positive. But I guess if you have seen your thermal shift yet then they are truly not positive yet.
