Sorry for your loss, Fngrs!! Fortunately (aside from my cp), I have not had any really recent losses... at least not people who were really close to me, but in the 9 yrs we've been married, we've been to at least 15 family funerals, and there were several we didn't make it to... So I know how it is. Condolences to your family.

Thanks for the charting info. I don't know if I'll ever chart. I was really frustrated with the couple days I tried because of my bad thermometer. As for me, I guess I'd still consider me at a light flow at most. I tested yesterday with an ic and it was bfn... this was right before the spotting turned heavier. I don't see how it could be ib, but I'll test again if the bleeding doesn't pick up and stops soon. I didn't bleed at all that I could tell overnight, but it came again around 11 a.m. I think. I just suspect it's slow to start still. If it's not heavy by tomorrow night, I would consider that weird. I mean, once it starts, I'm wearing depends for a couple days and wouldn't dare go to bed even with double pads. Right now, the toilet water isn't even pink... lol... tmi but I'm sure you know what I mean.

Fngrs-Sorry for your loss. And if the doc prescribes progesterone then i will tell her i want the suppositories. Thanks for the info! Also, i love how a pic of your chart is in your sig..how did you do that?

Minuet-I dont know if i said welcome but WELCOME

L.E.-i know what you mean about the toilet being pink. Well mines look more like a massacre whenever my af is here TBH, i think it will be better for you to get your AF so you can start fresh and this time be able to figure out when you ov etc. But im hoping you get a bfp!

AFM, its cd3 for me. I took my temp today and it was 97.63. Well, now its a good thing i am going to start temping from this day on because now I know that even my AF TEMPS are in the pre-ov AND ov range So i know thats not a good thing. Also, i talked to my DH about the whole "going to my doctor my next paycheck to see what she says" situation and we came to the conclusion that its best to just wait until this cycle finishes so I can atleast have two charts to bring and say "this has been going on for two cycles now and my temps stay in the 97 range." So atleast i have more information. Especially since my AF temps are in the same range too. So now im going to just wait it out this cycle and then go to the doc. I've waited this long so i can wait another cycle. Especially if it will help in the long run. I think if my temps stay around the same level then its for sure a progesterone issue right? Also on a good note..i had an interview on thursday and it went great. I did an interview for the county transit as a transit operations agent which is pretty much customer service rep. The highest score you can get per question is a 4 and i got all 4 for all 9 questions and they said im at the top of the list So i know im going to get the job Wont know until the end of the month because they said thats when they are going to hire everybody who passed so cant wait because its full time and that means higher pay yay So everything is working itself out. So i guess by the time i go to the doc..i will have the new job and then we can see if whatever the doc prescribes works and we will be able to finally conceive and deliver a healthy baby. And atleast if i get pregnant at the new job..there wont be any heavy lifting etc because i will just be answering the phone sooo everything works out in a way. Also, with the new job i would get benefits meaning maternity leave etc so yay by the time i get pregnant..the benefits should kick in and we will be set. So we are on our way.

Happy Resurrection Day (Easter)!

Mzswizz, I really hope you get that job! I've been considering going back to work to help out financially, but I want very specific (and only a few) hours, so I'm not sure how that will work out.

I know what you mean about the massacre lol. I was anemic for years because of my bad bleeding. I shouldn't love Depends as much as I do at 29 yrs old haha. Mine now is still sporadic... brown/pink or nothing most of the day with 1-2 times of heavy spotting/light bleeding. I haven't made it to a regular flow at all yet, let alone my normal super-heavy couple of days.

If this goes on past the 8 day mark, I will probably call my doc about starting Provera again and starting Clomid. My Wondfo looked negative today, so I can only assume it's a weird AF. I'm really hoping that's what it is and I go on to have a more normal cycle.

I see you use the microscope...I always wanted to try it. seems so much easier than opk's and figuring out lines. Haven't used one opk this month! GO ME! Cheking CP and CM for the most part. I'd say you look like you are close to OV...Looks like your body considered it on CD24 but decided to wait a little minute.
Thanks!

Yeah I think the microscope is cool, however it isn't as easy as the company says. For one thing, the ferning doesn't look the same for everyone. I look down it and am sure I see partial, but it doesn't look like their picture. HOWEVER when I first used it while AF was here, there was nothing there, and now it is busy with lines and etc etc.
Anyway I could be doing it all wrong lol.
Opks are driving me crazy as I keep getting almost positives and then going back to faints. I'm also tired of using cups and strips and bleh.
I sure hope it's close to O! This is my first cycle tracking all this stuff and I'm getting burnt out waiting for that elusive halfway mark.

Good for you not using Opks, I can see now why some women hate using them.

I've never heard that before about temps in the 97s. Why is it a bad thing to have temps consistently that high, and how does it signal a progesterone problem? That's really intriguing and I'd love to learn more.

The potential job sounds terrific, I hope you get it!

It seems as though if I get pregnant someone dies!! Seriously, last month my Aunt MIL passed then I found out I was pregnant. I knew her for a while (I was a child when I met her say about 3 or 4) but we weren't close. My dad requested that I go to her funeral, but I didn't. my mom and brothers went; but it's just after I lost my baby in November I can't go to these things. I went to my cousins in Sept 2011 and lost my son Nov 2011. So I just can't see me going to this one...And the bad thing is that this is a family member that I am close to. But I just can't do it. I don't want to see him like that, plus it's painful and reminds me of my baby's funeral. No can do.

I hope it isn't a slow start... if it is the horrible witch I think she needs to just go away!! Heck, with my DS#1 I had what looked like a period. Lasted about 3 or 4 days...Never got heavy at all stayed light, but I knew it wasn't normal. DH and I weren't married then..So I told him I think I am pregnant. No I didn't miss my period, but this wasn't a normal period. Sure enough... PREGNANT!! So it could be IB! And mine wasn't even "spotting" it was heavier than spotting, my AF did make it to the pad, but it just wasn't normal for me not to be heavier.

About TMI, I don't believe in anything being TMI. We are all ladies and adults alike. There is nothing that you can or should be able to say on here that anyone should find offensive or gross. I don't believe in being polite about anything that goes on with the body. We are all TTC and should be able to be graphic without anyone being "ewwww" about anything. So talk to me however you need to. BTW some people may find it gross that I posted a pic of EWCM on this very thread. But I was not the EWCM type for the longest (since my early 20's)and needed to know if that's what it was...So if I can post that then we can post or say anything personal.

Thanks MsSwizz...Like I told L.E. I am not going to the services.

I think that's a good idea to wait and have 2 charts to take with you. It allows them to have more info. I bet because you are going to try to get two charts in you are going to get your BFP this cycle That would be too awesome for words, and I would so be killing over laughing!!! That's when it usually happens, when you least expect it and when you have a mission at hand.

About the Maternity leave...every job legally has to give tou maternity leave it's called The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) it grants 12 weeks unpaid time of for maternity (prebirth) and postpartum. However you want to split it up you can, as long as it's 12 weeks. Two of my friends worked until the week before delivery and used the rest of the time (11 weeks) for postpartum to care for the baby. So if you have the energy to keep working until close to delivery then I say go for it!! I was taken out of work for bedrest with my DD and DS#2. So there went my "maternity leave". lol

I usually temp during AF..It makes me feel like I am actually making progress on my chart and then I have a general idea where my temps were during it. So I end up being able to see with my temps the FSH in action and then when the OV dip happens I get to see Estrogen in action. It has helped me better understand how my body is working. I always look at it as being 4 levels of temps...FSH, Estrogen/Ovulation, then LH/Progesterone and maaaaaaybe Pregnancy/Triphasic. I know ppl do the 3 levels but it helps me to go a little further.

L.E. yes my cycles have been super heavy ever since i had a d&c. Im use to it now but i just hate looking down and thinking oh my goodness how come i didnt pass out with all that blood coming out my body Typical me i think Hoping you find out whats going on soon. And hopefully you dont have to go through what i went through in January which was a 20 day period. Yes 20 days and i dont know how i managed.

Minuet-Well my normal temps are in the 97 range like pre-ov temps and I temp vaginally. So its expected to be a little higher than my normal pre-ov temps when I was temping orally. But the issue is if my pre-ov temps are in the 97 range, then my ov temps should be higher because progesterone kicks in and it increases the temps after ov. But since my temps stay in the 97 range that must mean that there is a progesterone issue because something is causing it to not kick in and my temps to increase. But when i know exactly whats going on with at the doc after this cycle. I can get more in-depth with the situation.

Fngrs-I know what you mean about funerals. I dont really go to funerals because I dont like to see my loved ones like that. I want to remember them as being happy and laughing etc not picture them sleeping forever. Plus i really dont do well in depressing environment. I rather be happy then to cry but i think i get that from my dad because he is the exact same way. I was pretty much raised by my dad (hence why im the female version of him) even though my parents were married and living together..i spent more time with my dad then mom because we didnt get along. But i've been through the funerals. Both my grnadmothers died 7 months apart from each other and the same exact way. I was an emotional wreck. Good thing my DH was there to help lift me up but we were only dating at that time. I believe that when someone dies that means someone is getting pregnant. Because i think God takes a soul and to bring another into the world. Its sad seeing someone pass but just know they are in a better place and living worry free. My condolences

AFM, its cd4 for me. Just so happens..my temp today is the same exact temp I had for ov day last cycle. When i reach cd8..im going to do a little experiment and add these temps to last cycle and see if it says I o'd on cd24. This is pretty much the boring phase until I hit cd8. Nothing much going on except im having my menses, cramping and moody but of course thats normal when AF is around. Im taking my prenatals daily and taking my temp daily. I didnt temp on cd2 because when i started the flow, i decided to just wait until the bleeding stopped but on the night of cd2, my dh told me i should just temp from the beginning so i can atleast have something to go by when i go to the doc..so i started taking my temp again yesterday. This morning I woke up to take my temp and dh wanted me to put the alarm on for 7 for him so i said i can do it and he said go take your temp It was pretty funny especially coming from MY dh since he thought temping at first wasnt going to help but after explaining everything and he finally listened..now he says do it then go to Dr. Steinberg (my ob/gyn..the best!) and we go from there. So im shocked that he is sooo willing and open now and lets me talk to him about this stuff and im happy because we are closer. Wow this is pretty long so im just going to wrap this up by saying..I have a long day ahead of me. Nothing but cleaning up and waiting for dh to come home from work. I go back to work on Wednesday. Well thats it for me.

Well now, I would have taken that microscope to be easier. I would have also thought that all ferning patterns would look alike..Guess I'd better stay in my lane with the opk's then. lol Who knows it might do well with it, I would have to do a trial run though and match it up with my charts and use it every day to get a feel of what's truly ferning.

What kinds of opk's are you using? I would call the manufacturer ans see what percentage of the line has to be darkest to be a positive. But I guess if you have seen your thermal shift yet then they are truly not positive yet. So calling that manufacturer might have been a silly thing to say. Just maybe delayed OV for you.
