First time ever using opk! Need help :(

Hi ladies! I want to so thank you for reading first.

Okay so today I am Cd 10. I went to the store and bought 4 cheap hcgs and a box of 7 equate brand opks. I didn't know when to start taking the opks since I don't know my regular cycles. I read it said to start at Cd 10 if u don't know so I did. Now I'm wondering ...has anyone here used the Equate brand opks?

The hcg came back negative. The opk of course had lines. Now I'm wondering.... there are two lines. I read the instructions and they said if the control is darker I am not close to ovulating. I'm thinking maybe anyone who has experience with the opks can tell me more about what they see.

What does it mean?

Will they get darker and does this mean anything?

that looks like you have not OV yet hun the line should be the same or darker that te control line you may see a gradual change in coulour as you bening to bulid up to ovulation you can take a while to get used to them if you are ever unsure of the lines i would just post a picture on here and there are lots of experianced women who could give you there opinion
