Have about 4 inches of snow here but it's starting to melt, thank god! It's Jakes birthday tomorrow and I don't fancy being snowed in!!

You guys crack me up with the talk of being snowed in with 4 inches! It usually takes at least 8" with high winds making it drift before we get snowed in. We also own all 4 wheel drive vehicles and have the infrastructure (snow plows) to take care of it.

I'm pretty sure Isis' top 2 teeth are going to be in soon. I really thought they'd break through in Puerto Rico but no luck. Today she's slept about 45 minutes and is incredibly needy! Its driving me crazy! I'm kinda looking forward to going to work tomorrow I'm not sure I would want to deal with her much longer!

I'm working on ordering the seeds for our garden (Isis is helping ) and I reorganized her clothes, bringing in 12 months and putting away 6 months. She can still wear some of them but I'd like to start organizing by size, the bins of her outgrown clothes soon so out they go!

I hope the sick babies start feeling better soon and the teething babies get a break (and their mommies!)

we've still got a couple inches but think its meant to rain tonight to will prob get washed away or i guess maybe be horribly icy tomorrow

danielle, hope you're feeling a bit better!

riri, hope poppy's teeth have popped now or are close!

tasha sounds like you've had a rough wkend.

rachel, happy birthday to jake for tomorrow! hope you and he has a great day!

dana i love those invites! you've def inspired me to get on with arranging alex#s party too!

sarah, hope rex settled eventully!

i braved going to see friends this wkend who live in cheltenham (i'm nr brighton) so quite a drive on my own with alex but he was a star! i took all day to get there friday and hung out at a service station for nearly 2 hours to let him burn off some energy then continue on our way for his 2nd nap time and today i think the snow stopped people venturing out cos we got home in 2 and a half hrs, which is crazy quick! was so nice meeting up with the girls , and last night alex even slept well! (although not so well fri night )

hope everyone had a good wkend xx

Yeah, I'm still sick. I was sick through our whole vacation. It was pretty depressing honestly. I think I have another sinus infection. On our flights home I couldn't get my ears to pop when we were taking off and landing. I can't believe how much it hurt! I'm going to make a drs appt tomorrow. Hopefully they can fit me in tomorrow.

Sounds pretty chronic Danielle!! I hope you get yourself well very soon. When I was pregnant I had a string of sinus problems leading to tinnitus in my ears! I still have it now grr. They are so painful too.

Yeah Britain gets crippled as soon as it snows lol!!! Reallyis pathetic but I guess score these last 3 years, our last big snowfall was over a decade ago so it isnt the norm for us. We don have ploughs or if we do, they are very far and few between . So salt grit it is; which is pathetic!

Bit of sad news. My nan passed away this weekend. She had had a series of strokes but unsure if that was the final cause. She was by herself in Dorset so it feels like miles away and we feel so helpless! She had a good life though. She would've been 93 this July.

My ears always always do that when I fly... The pain is terrible and when I was a kid I used to scream all the way up and all the way down xD
Something to do with fluid in my ears not circulating properly or something :s Just throwing it out there incase you could have developed the same problem!
Also, hope youre feeling better soon

Dana - Those invites are beautiful! I still cant believe how organised you are.

Tasha - Aww bless hope theyre better soon! Hard enough having one poorly baby nevermind 2 :/ Also hope someone helps you out a bit more too soon... need rest yourself too sometimes! Sounds like you just dont stop lol.

Jakes - Happy Birthday to Jake! Hope he has a wonderful day
And also, so sorry to hear about your nan. -hug-

RiRi - Thats a pretty impressive time to be with someone! I could never imagine being with someone for that long aha.

Also hope any teething babies are happier again soon! Poor little mites.

Ahhh Ive put Ollie in his own room for the very first time tonight. I think Im missing him more than hes missing me xD I feel miles away from him! But hes only upstairs (my bedroom is downstairs... the old dining room :P) Feel quite lonely without him tbh. Hes been asleep for a couple of hours so far now. FX'd he carries on sleeping through.
Ill have to post pics of his new room once I take some!

Getting my own room decorated this week with my first ever double bed! Never been so excited over a freaking bed aha!
