Ooh loving all the finger food talk! Thanks for all the tips, I have started doing loads of finger foods with Leo recently but all these ideas are great. Like Fi we are doing TW but lately Leo's suddently become very good with finger foods, and it occupies him for long enough so that I can eat my own lunch We're doing crumpets, steamed veggies, raw veggies, fruit, cheese sticks, whatever goes really, I usually give him a bit of whatever i'm having too. It's so enjoyable to see him peering at something and shoving it in his mouth. Adorable.

Bec - nice to hear from you, gorgeous pic of you and elliot, he is such a cutie! Good for you on the cupcake idea, you seem so motivated.

Linds - at the antihistamines - good info though as i get terrible hayfever and am always bunged up on clarytin during spring/summer. And yay for Soph sleeping through, really hope it lasts. Maybe it was all that fresh centre parcs air

Hann - discovery box sounds lovely! And ooh i'll have to check out hunger games.

Caz - oh goodness you and i with our easter eggs, my diet has gone completely out of the window, binge binge binge! Paul's mum and dad are visiting and they brought about a thousand easter eggs with them. We also had fish and chips for din dins tonight. I think i'm giving up MFP for the next few days - back on track next week!

AFM sorry i've not been on the past few days, have been reading but couldn't post - every spare moment the past few days i have spent preparing for my interview. I had my it today, and I got an email from them an hour later saying I'd got through to the second round! Still trying not to get too excited as i've no idea whether the salary will be any good or whether they'll even consider taking me on at 4 days a week if i get the job, but hey ho, at least it will be A job. And if i don't get it i've had some great interview practice.

Caz I bought a load of fish and chicken fillets and made my own nuggets then bagged them up in the freezer, plus I get loads of those steam-fresh frozen veg bags so they're a really good easy meal. She also likes things like crumpets, hot cross buns and teacakes. Also if I want to use up a puree I dip bits of toast in them and give her those. She generally just has what we have, otherwise. x

Loving all the food talk!

Freckles, congrats on starting your own business. I loooove cupcakes!!!

Bb, Jillian loves bread too and I'm worried I give her too much. I'm guessing 1-2 slices a day is not bad.

Simmy, congrats on making it to round two of the interview process! Good luck with the next step. I hope you get it!

Jillian has been a fussy eater lately. Most of the food gets pushed off her tray and the dog eats it. She's also been throwing tantrums in the high chair. Once in a while she eats a decent meal - usually fruit, bread, and sweet potato. I'm also worried I'm not producing enough milk. How would I know if I would need to supplement? I can't seem to pump much either or make the time for it since she's mobile. I've been drinking mother's milk tea. Yuck! I wish I had time to make another batch of cookies to boost milk supply. Are anyone elses breasts feeling rather empty? Is that normal? I should go to another LLL meeting.

Mine feel completely back to normal too bv. But Sophie is having big gulping feeds and if I squeeze when she's done, more easily flows. I guess its just where supply reduces after weaning. X

Thanks for all the advice ladies! I will check out the thread in the weaning section as well Becs. I just hate the mess but will see if I can find a bib which covers his arms and go for it! Fun fun fun! Yesterday he managed one proper meal at tea time and a good snack mid afternoon but lunch was a disaster - half a banana and a bread stick (

Soooo glad it's a 4 day weekend! Not that weekends mean much to us Mumma's but so nice to have the men home too.

Simmy - yay for getting through! Keep us posted on your updates please. I think this weekend will be the same for me and eating - am expecting carnage with the easter eggs! Also our scales aren't working at home - I think I have actually put a couple of pounds on just from how I feel but not sure. Don't really want to weight myself in Boots or something, too embaressing!

Anyone have any nice plans this weekend? x

Caz jojo maman do brilliant coverall bibs. LINK. They seem pricey but you save a bit when you buy two and you don't need to launder them, you just rinse them under the tap with a bit of washing up liquid or kitchen spray and leave them to dry. I tried loads with H and they either didn't cover him properly or the fabric was so stiff he couldn't move his arms. These ones are as fine as cotton. I went straight out and bought another 2 for Sophie when we started weaning her!

Yeah ive got some crap coverall bibs. i usually just change his top after every meal these days.

Brought Joshy the FP sit to stand giraffe today (fb bargain) and i can recommend. very sturdy for them to pull up on. I did get a activity table (another fb bargain) for him to stand at but it just topples over when he pulls on it. Have put a quick pic on fb x

I tried more finger food and he took some - hated the purée again. It didn't feel like he ate much though.... But we tried! How much do your little ones eat with finger food? x
