Hello, lads... So someone tell me it's normal that G wants to feed from 11 pm-3 am?

I have no idea what her deal is. Also have no idea where she will actually sleep. Or when!

All I can say is, the next time DH makes me feel bad for not making phone calls during the day, I'm going to remind him that he's the one getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

At least the dog came out to keep me company.

Oh, and my nursing pillow is giving me a rash.

And for the first time ever, someone offered me extra help at the store because I'm expecting.

Wooop to first 1000 posts

Regards routine....not really here as shes not even 3 weeks yet going to try and atart sonethibg around bath, feed bed etc at 4 weeks. Feedibg wise still on demand...after a couple of 4-5 hour stretches at night we seem to have settled (welk last 3 nights ha ha) into 3-3.5hours between feeds at night...down around 10:30-11pm...feed around 2am then 5-5:30 so not too bad really :-).....i can cope with that. Tend to.change her halfway through 2am feed to try to extend how much she takes....even so she is up fed changed and back.down in about 15-20mins.

Changing....we are still using cotton wool and warm water and no creams yet...no rashes so.seems to work for us. Have loads of wipes so will start using at 4 weeks ish...they are alk fragrance free etc. We always have a towel or muslin down to keep her a little warm......loo she used to scream like crazy during changes but has calmed down alot...depends really. We have an over the cot changer so sometimes set off the musical mobile to distract her...if she looks like shes goibg to.whinge.

She was up an hour after last feed this morning really grizzly...hubby got up with her cos she obviously didnt need feeding. Think.it was wind...he managed to get a big burp and by massaging her belly some farts too....ha ha explosive poonami this morning too ha ha...she looks so intense when shes trying to go bless xo

I'd love some sort of routine here with F but I accept it won't happen yet. She has become unputdownable since 24 hours ago (when OH went back to work) she's calm MOST the time if I hold her or have her in the sling but if I put her down she instantly screams even if she was asleep. Its quie stressful listening to her scream knowing holding her would stop it, butt some stuff I just can't hold her for, like changing and dressing Roh as he kicks me plus I feel awful as I still can't give Roh much attention. If she'd just sleep for 30 mins a few times a day in her basket I'd be happy! Phew, sure it will get better in time though!

Really hope everyone is well! lovely mamas! Xxx

Eesh. Asdas on Easter weekend is not pretty!!

Just realised that my friend from Wales said she was visiting today. Had no text though tbh, I'd be quite happy without visitors today, so won't be too upset if she doesn't come. I hope that doesn't sound bad.

Asdas said they can't sell gripe water anymore because of something to do with contamination, and the homeopathic colic remedy vitfa suggested was not on the shelf so got another bottle of infacol. Waula, I know you use it too, but are you using it at every feed, or just when Noah needs it? I've taken to using it regardless, but feel bad just in case she doesn't actually need it? the alternative could be the crying/screaming though...

Loo infacol needs to be used with each feed as it needs to build up to be effective. It won't do much for between 24-72 hours of firtst use.

Loo i'm using infacol every feed...makes him do very impressive single burps when i sit him up...he still gets wind in the evenings but feeding + dummy seems to work... he's not colicky but gurgly and i think he's much better burping when i use it...

brave doing asda on easter sat!!!!

emera - you're doing a fab job hun...hope F settles a bit better today xxx

mitch - fed, changed and bak down in 15-20mins? M is such an angel!!!! N taking more milk now - feeding for 30mins so normally back down in 45-60mins depending on wind/burp/nappy...

xxx
