We have a cat named Boo. We named her that because when she was a kitten we had an open staircase and she would hide on a step and then keep popping her head up. She is so cute

Sorry its so huge

We have 2 cats Bob and Smudge:

Smudge - we couldnt tell if he was male or female so DH thought Smudge would work both ways - doesn't have a nickname

Bob - same with Smudge with the fact that we couldn't tell yet if he was male or female but I thought he looked like a Bob and luckily he was male lol - often gets called 'bobbity bob' don't ask why it just happened.

Our cat's called Pangur
we found it in a poem book, the poem was called Pangurban and it was written by a monk (or something or other like that) ages and ages ago about his pet cat!
Then we discovered that Pangur is gaelic for Kitty and well... it suits him very well!

and here's the poem;

Pangur Ban

I and Pangur Ban, my cat,
'Tis a like task we are at;
Hunting mice is his delight,
Hunting words I sit all night.

Better far than praise of men
'Tis to sit with book and pen;
Pangur bears me no ill will;
He, too, plies his simple skill.

'Tis a merry thing to see
At our task how glad are we,
When at home we sit and find
Entertainment to our mind.

Oftentimes a mouse will stray
Into the hero Pangur's way;
Oftentimes my keen thought set
Takes a meaning in its net.

'Gainst the wall he sets his eye
Full and fierce and sharp and sly;
'Gainst the wall of knowledge I
All my little wisdom try.

When a mouse darts from its den.
O how glad is Pangur then!
O what gladness do I prove
When I solve the doubts I love!

So in peace our tasks we ply,
Pangur Ban, my cat and I;
In our arts we find our bliss,
I have mine, and he has his.

Practice every day has made
Pangur perfect in his trade ;
I get wisdom day and night,
Turning Darkness into light.'

We've got two cats and one kitten

The eldest is Daisy, our tabby.
We wanted a 'real' name not anything like socks or wiggles, fluffy etc. I think because we had been trying to conceive for a long time and she was replacing our baby we didn't have lol
Nickname: Daisy Waisy lol

The second we got as a mate for Daisy cos we were out most of the day and felt bad for her.
The second we named Lola, but then 'she' turned out to be a 'he' so I let OH name him. . . Heman
Heman is a black and white long haired domestic.
Nickname: The Hemonster.

Our 'baby' is named Mimi, our bengal.
We were lookiing up 'baby' in different languages and one language (can't remeber which ) was something like 'Mimmino'
Nickname: The baby.

It won't let me upload my pics. . .

I have two cats.
Tamland- she's the oldest (2 years). Her name is Tamland after Brick Tamland from Anchorman. There's a scene in the movie where Brick says "I love lamp." Well when we were bringing her home from the shelter the look on her face was "I love lap" so she became Tamland.
Tiger- she's 1. She has tiger stripes. We found her and her sister at my hubby's work as very young kittens (just about 6 weeks) and brought them home. Her sister is living with my hubby's grandfather.

I have a kitty named Gina She is really pretty with medium length grey hair, and best surprise ever?? She does not shed ... even if I pet her with wet hands, none of her fur ends up on my hands, it's a miracle.

I didn't name her, I adopted her when she was 4 months old and that's what she had been called since she was little, and she knew her name, came to it, etc... so I didn't change it or anything. Though I think she looks like a Daphne lol
