Hair loss- when does it stop??

My hair started falling out (A LOT) around 3 months after i had the baby. Now its been 4 and a half months and its still falling out in chunks. I have bald spots that people can see. When does the hair loss stop?? I have little poofies standing straight up now on my temples where it is starting to grow back, but im still losing a lot every day.

My hair doesn't fall out as badly as it sounds like yours does but it's still doing it and my LO is 6 months old. Sorry that might not be very helpful but I didn't want to read and run x

My hair kept falling for 2 months I think-- month 5 and 6. Gave me massive bald patches. By month 7, started growing back again. As of now, no bald patches and all the hair are back. They are pretty short though... Waiting for them to grow long and all be the same length again.
You'll get there...

My lo is going on 5 months and maybe mine is falling out too. I don't think as bad but it's definitely thinned out. I don't remember when it stopped with my 7 year old but i do know it did eventually stop. By the time she was a year and 3 months my hair was to my butt and you couldn't tell i went through a shedding faze

Mine is still falling out like crazy and has been for the past 2 months. My hair is noticably thinner. Luckily I have extremely thick curly hair, so it doesn't look bad, just different than it used to!

Been going on for a month for me, I have a bald patch that has these thin whispy hairs on the right front of my hairline, I have to part my hair differently to hide it. I've been leaving my hair down more, not straightening it, & taking more vitamin d (I heard biotin supplements help too). I have hypothyroidism too so that doesn't help.

Yeah mine is falling out at a prolific rate as well... baby is nearly 5 months, and I first noticed it at 3.5m-ish. It's terrible though, my hair is freakin everywhere! Every time LO picks something up and puts it in his mouth it has hairs stuck to it... yuk!

Mine is still falling out, it's weird cos I actually didn't think I had that much hair in the first place but I'm still loosing massive clumps. I'm amazed there is anything left. I keep meaning to get I cut but I've not had a chance.

Mine returned to normal hair loss around 6mths pp and started to fall out when lo was about a month. I lost a lot, especially around my hairline. The corner bits either side of my forehead were the worst but I lost handfuls everywhere. Strangely my hair wasn't noticeably thicker when I was pg either. I did start again on the postnatal vitamins and my hair growth has been quite quick. My new hair now covers my bald bits

Mine stopped around 7 months. I just suddenly realised one day that I wasn't losing hair anymore.
