Health concerns?? (sorry for TMI!)

Since having Anna I have a few concerns about my health "down there" and I have my postnatal checkup in a few weeks but am wondering if it's anything I should go and see a dr about before then (or if it's normal symptoms for having had a baby?)...

The first concern I have is, whenever I go to the toilet (#2) I'm bleeding a lot, like so much so that it completely changes the colour of the water in the toilet to red(!) ... Anyone else get this after having their baby?? I'm really thinking it's not normal...!

Also, since my bleeding stopped I've noticed I'm getting a lot of thick discharge that's orange/yellow in colour and quite nasty-smelling, too

Is any of this sounding normal? Or is it as weird and disturbing as I think it is?? lol

Do you think I should go to my doctors before my postnatal, or just wait till then to ask about it?

The first one could be internal piles, I've had them for ages. Can't help with your second issue. I'd say speak to your HV if you're going to see them or make a drs appointment.

I always heard, if everything smells "fine", in terms of a smell like period it's fine, but if it doesn't smell "good" it could be an infection!

def would go and see the doc!

good luck
