To anyone suffering PPI - don't let it go too long without seeking help. My family thought I was being a baby and needed to "man up" about my lack of sleep. I literally got less than 5 hours the 1st 7 days and averaged 4 very broken hours for the next month. I really did think I was going insane. I seriously thought I'd never sleep again and that I was so exhausted I'd drop LO and she'd break her little neck. PPI can spiral to PND very quickly. The link below describes is perfectly - and like this author, I got on a mild anti-anxiety pill and for the 1st time in 7 weeks, I fell asleep within an hour last night.
