Could I have an infection 3 weeks after C-Section?

Over the past 2 days and 2 nights I have had a fever on and off, chills, a head ache, and body aches. Is it possible I could have an internal infection this long after my C-Section?

I don't know what else it could be.

My C-section wound got infected about 5 weeks after...I had all those symptoms one night and the next day i was dripping pus!
Sorry that sounds way dramatic but a quick trip to the docs and i got antibiotics and a load of dressings and i had to get my OH to dress it 2x a day (as the pus needs to come out) and it cleared up in about a week.
Have you seen the doc yet?

No. My symptoms seemed to have disappeared. If they come back, I'll head to the hospital, but I don't want to bother them if I'm not having anymore symptoms.. I don't know if they would actually do anything at that point.

Maybe it was just a flu or something you were fighting?
Is it tender and swollen around your scar?
Mine was obv an infection with all the pus but i'd be thinking the same as you!
