O/T- when did you have your first PP?

It's been over 4 mos since LO was born... and I've yet to have a proper period???

I was pumping the first 10wks- so I understood that. But then I started on the pill and thought, great, it will be regulated and back to normal soon. But no. Nothing. Zip, zilch, nadda!!!! I had a tiny bit of break through bleeding the first month- but I'm not on my 3rd pack of pills and nothing yet...

I'm guessing this is normal? But every month around the time my period should start I feel crap. I just want to have it back to "normal"... who knew I'd actually miss my period! lol.

Thanks ladies...

Well I'm almost 10 months post partum and nothing yet! I'm still bf, so I guess thats why. I'm not complaining though.
Can't believe you're in such a hurry to get your period back!? Don't you enjoy the bloodfree times?

I didn't get it until I got an implant fitted when LO was around 5 months and I think I only got it then because of that. I expressed for the first two months so similar situation. Try not to worry!

You would think so... LOL. It's not that I really WANT my period back- I just don't feel right, if that makes sense. I feel crappier than I would if I actually had a period... and my periods are never bad (very light actually)- so part of me thinks when it does come it will be horrid! So yea, why do I care again?

Thanks!

I'm EBF and mine came back yesterday - exactly a year to the day since I had my last one. I'm wondering if it's a one off or it's back for good.

I'm still waiting for mine to come around. I exclusively pumped for the first 8 weeks and now FF but still nothing. I had my postpartum bleeding for 3 months though, don't know if that has something to do with me not having PP yet.

I'm EBF too and it's been 14 since she was born. Still no
period.
Not really complaining though since I had horrible endometriosis cramps.

I breastfed for almost 4 weeks exclusively. I then went onto formula. My period arrived this morning. So far it's not too bad! So exactly 8 weeks I think.
