weird things that happened to your body postpartum no one told you about

for me,
nobody told me that postpartum I would get horrible acne which I have never had my whole life, not even when I was pregnant. i even have pimples on my back..

i was told that after having a baby your hair on your head falls out, well mine hasnt in fact its thicker than when I was pregnant..but my pubic hairs are falling out slowly...

nobody told me that my feet would swell up postpartum for 2 whole weeks.
They didnt swell when I was pregnant.

The acne is the worst! These deep pimples that are huge and hurt so bad. ,ine have gotten a little better, but not much. My hair didn't start falling out till about 3 1/2 months pp, so you've still got time!

No one told me how bad breastfeeding would hurt or how hard it would be in the beginning. Also, that it would take me weeks to be able to wipe normal after peeing and instead Id have to squirt clean and pat dry

Horrible acne.
The worst menstraul type cramps the first few days of breastfeeding that also causes your to gush blood out (only when I nursed too)
How painful the healing process is! I can't believe nobody ever mentioned it to me I was so shocked that I wasnt able to sit right for 3 weeks.

That's totally normal! Bfing causes your uterus to contract. I always thought it was kinda cool to start feeding and all of a sudden feel contractions
