I had what I'm pretty sure was my first period since birth right before I had it put in. The first week I had no cramping or bleeding, and then yesterday the heavy bleeding and cramping started. It is too early to be my period again, so I assume it is from the IUD? And i wonder why it all the sudden started after a week of having it? This is some pretty heavy bleeding

Mind isn't too heavy. To be safe you might call your OBGYN.
