How long?

Hey!!
I was just wondering how long people waiited to have sex again? Sorry if its in wrong forum. is it safe to have sex before the 6 week check up if up to it?
I had forcepts assistances delivery with second degree tears with internal stitches that only take upto 28 days to dissolve

We waited 2 days, but the doctor said to wait until the 4 week checkup. I felt fine, so we went for it (carefully) though.

i was wondering the same i had a second degree episiotomy and im 3 and a half weeks pp i feel fine down there and everything looks healed (ive had a prod around and nothing hurts) so i will give it a go next week depending on how i feel then, the nurse said when i left the hospital its entirely up to me but i should give myself time to heal too.

i tried it last night and it was ok, abit wierd tho, around where the scar is now but supose thats normal. I made sure my OH was going slow and gentle. Good luck :-) xxx
