How long will my stitches take to heal?

I have 3 in my labia, it hurts sooooo much to pee

How long do they normally take to heal? It hurts to walk too, i can't walk too much cos they get really irritated. Ouchie!

Have a shallow bath at least once a day with a few drops of lavender oil in to help the healing. It took about 10 days for my stitches to dissolve, although it was still tender to the touch. I only had the pain when peeing for about a week though xx

I'd say couple of weeks but mine healed quicker n felt much better if I showered or had a plain water bath throughout the day then dried down ther with a cool hair dryer! I started havin a quick shower after every wee n just holding shower head down there cos it was so painful!

I feel for u! My stitches with dd were in labia n I hated it but once they start healing up be fine!

Oh ps try not to wear any tight clothes around there n wear cotton knickers! I lived in pj bottoms for 2 weeks n big cheap knickers!

3rd the bath thing!

Ice packs help bring the swelling down as well and make things more manageable when it comes to walking around and what not.

Also, try and let your vag hang out! Getting fresh air to your lady parts will help speed healing.

Also do your kegals, getting the blood flowing down there helps promote healing too.

My stitches were not completely disolved until week 9-10. But I felt normal and was able to walk comfortably around week 3.5-4. I just couldnt sit down and do the splits by no means!
