OMG - I forgot how horrible AF is!

I had a bit of post-baby bleeding and a mild first AF about 4wks afterwards -- I got my first real period on Friday and..........omg! I forgot about the cramps, the tiredness and general achiness (thought I was getting the flu, actually) that comes with AF ----------- growl!

Just thought I'd mention it -- I have had my AF for 30 years (am 44 now, started at 12/13 years old) and it never gets 'routine'; at least, I can take some proper painkillers!

best wishes

I had my first real one (had some random bleeding at 6 weeks pp) a couple weeks ago and I seriously thought I was going to bleed to death. It has been over two weeks and I still have spotting and I probably lost a gallon of blood! I guess we are making up for the 9 months we got to have without it!!
