Pregnant after Loss at 24 weeks...

Hello, I am new here!

I found out on new years eve I am 4 weeks pregnant....so still early days.
Last July I lost my baby girl at 24 weeks. Post mortum showed she wasn't growing properly and was brain damaged due to lack of oxygen but they don't know why this happened.

I've been told its highly unlikely to happen again but I am SO scared I am going to try take each day as it comes...

Does anyone have any tips on trying not too worry so much....how likely are these things to happen twice..or have you gone on to have successful pregnancy after loss.

I could not cope twice.
All that kept me going was my boy ( 2 yrs 10months)

Kayleigh x

Hey sweetie, i cannot tell you that i have achieved a sucessful pregnancy after loss.... but i lost my little girl at 23+5 in September and am now 6+4 weeks pregnant with my next. I also have a little boy who is 17months who kept me going through it, without him i think it would have been the death of me, its been such a horrid experience

i am feeling the same, really concerned about this pregnancy, my baby died because the cord got entwined round her neck and stopped her head from growing properly so there is a minute chance it would ever happen again but i am still very scared x

I am having extra scans to put my mind at ease, first in on Thursday, i will be 7+1, i wonder have you thought about asking for extra scans?

anyway, hugs to you xx i hope we can help each other through this time xxx
