Ok, so 5 +3 weeks gone and went to drs today...

She told me she couldnt refer me to the hospital anymore i have to be referred to a midwife as a new patient :s

The next midwife appt available was next wednesday but she said that if it is going to take that long she will referr me herself to the hopsital as i am a high risk precnancy, why can't she just do that in the first place :s

She told me i would find out today either way but i am yet to recieve a phonecall and its 5 to 6 already

if anybody has experienced anything like this before please feel free to get back to me and share what you had to do

That is ridiculous, I hope you hear something soon and get referred sooner as you shouldn't be made to wait like this. As if it isn't stressful enough without dealing with the nhs dragging their heals. Good luck! xxxx

i know i thought after my drs appt today i would at least have some reasurrance of when i would be seen but im in exactly the same boat i've been in i just hope it dosent take a week xx
