New here, hoping 3rd time is a charm

Hey ladies, I'm new to this forum. I've been hanging around TTC after loss a little bit, but got my bfp a week ago. I'm super stressed and worried...of course! All our fertility tests were "normal", but dr. put me on 100mg First VGS progesterone suppositories as a precaution. I had my first beta draw on monday 3/19 at 4+3 and it was 210. I'm getting another beta draw today, so we'll see. My last pregnancy, which ended at 6 weeks, my beta at 4+3 was 97, so maybe it's a good sign this time it is higher? Anyways, just thought I'd share a bit and say hello

Congrats toothfairy! I totally know what you mean about not being as excited with this bfp. I feel like I've warmed up to it a little more now at this point, but I still can't shake the feeling something will go wrong :/ M/c's have defintely jaded the pregnancy experience for me, but I'm trying to stay hopeful! It's all we can do really

Hi toothfairy (& congratulations!)

As I said when I told my ob/gyn about my bfp today, I don't feel anything (other than guilt for feeling nothing).

Are you two ladies having early scans or anything? Hope you're both feeling ok today... Everyday we've passed another milestone.xx

I actually went to my gp today with a virus that I can't shake. I had to tell him that I was pregnant again. But I said I didnt want to act upon it yet. No midwife or anything. Said I'd only told him for appropriate medication and that I would go back I'm a couple of weeks when more confident. To be honest I don't think I'll get early scan, I ended up paying private when I started bleeding as the early pregnancy unit was so shit!
It's great you feel I'm not alone in all this, still haven't told hubby!!
Are you having extra scans?

I am getting an early scan thank goodness. I know most places won't see women until 10-12 weeks, but I get my first scan ~7.5 weeks on April 10th My Dr. is being really cool and went through my last m/c with me and knows I'm super nervous about this one, so she is being really compassionate and accomadating

Oh tooth fairy... Hope you're feeling better. Virus is the last thing you need! Have you told your hubby yet?

How are you feeling about your scan tuckie? I have one on Monday 9th and I'm dreading it! I guess it's because both of mine have been mmc so it's the way I've found out both times.

I'm trying to be positive but trying not to become attached /emotionally involved and finding it so difficult to find the balance. how are you two coping with this?

I'm so envious of people on first trimester forum who are already sharing their thoughts about names, nursery decor, weaning and stuff... I would love to be pregnant and innocent and excited!

I hope you both have a lovely day... We have made a few more days!

xx
