19weeks pregnant after 3 misscarriages

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and just looking for abit of reassurance from women who have been in the same situation as me. Me and my husband had been trying for a baby over a period of 3years and in that time i suffered 3 miscarriages, now I'm finally pregnant and I've managed to reach 19weeks I just can't obsessing that something is going to go wrong! Most of my time I spend worrying that something is going to happend and I will miscarry again. I've had plenty of ultrasound scans and I've heard my little girls heartbeat which was 185bpm. I didn't think it would play on my mind so much but its driving me crazy. I'm not feeling much movements yet so I'm stressing over that, even though I know its normal and some babies kick later than others. Just looking for abit of advice on how to get over worrying and reasuring myself that every thing is going to be fine. Thank you for listening.

You should come and join us in the pregnant after recurrent loss thread. There are a couple of ladies who have had their babies, a couple more in the third tri, a bunch of us around the same as you and excitingly a bunch of new ladies joined this week. We are very chatty and I have found it so reassuring to be able to ask the others if they had certain symptoms or share my story. Its been such a great support for me, and I know that it would be for you too.

Wishing you every success. I know just how scary it is to have got this far after multiple miscarriages, but trust that this IS the baby you will hold in your arms
