really scared

So I am 7 weeks and 5 days, and I'm really scared. This may be too much information but I went to the bathroom earlier and I had some brown discharge, it looked like old blood but it really scared me because this is how it started last time!

I still have really sore boobs, I still feel sick when I am hungry, I still have very strong food adversions.

But now I am terrifed!

Last time, I lost all my symptoms around 7 weeks, so I still have strong symptoms which is reassuring but I am just so scared. I'm so scared.

I don't have much to offer in the way of advice...have you called your doctor? I hope everything is okay and the little one is just giving you a scare. *hugs*

I don't think brown is a major concern as its old blood that has been hanging around, bright blood with cramps i believe is a real concern. Keep hydrated and keep and eye on it. Can you get an early scan for reassurance? I've had a red bleed today so im scared too. I pray for us both xx

So I have come on here because I have the exact same thing, still have sore boobs and so hungry I feel sick yesterday was small amount and today when I wipe. Also not full on cramps but the dull aches in the tummy again. Last time I just knew it was going to happen. Did you also feel more sensitive to the cold? I know to others it doesnt sound like a lot but to us it is petrifying as you know this is exactly how it started last time. My last mc was feb 20th and it was a surprise to get pregnant again so early on.

How are you feeling today?
I have also woken up with a weird blocked nose, not from a cold, or any other symptoms of allergies, kind of like when you ly from altitude?

Just wanted to give you ladies some reassurance. At 6 weeks I had brown discharge for a few days, it was only ever a light brown and never heavy or red. I didn't really have cramps either although I convinced myself that they were there! It lasted 3 days on and off and hasn't been back since. That was 10 days ago and ever since then my symptoms have gotten stronger and stronger. Obviously I won't know properly until the scan but *fingers crossed* I think it was just one of those things. I will be thinking of you both, I know how scary it is but all we can do is stay positive. Every day we remain pregnant is half the battle!

Spotting can be so scary especially after you have had a loss but it can also be totally normal. If you are not having bad cramping or pain and the blood is brown and mostly when you go to the bathroom please try not to worry. But if you are concerned try asking your doctor for an early scan just to make sure everything is ok. I had scans every week with this pregnancy fro 5 week to 11 weeks. After my losses I just needed that reassurance. Wishing you all the best xx

I keep trying, every time I get scared to think of that show " I didn't know I was pregnnt" those ladies claim to hav pe their periods but actually it was just spotting during their pregnancies.

Maybe that's pushing it but it helps to calm me down.

Thank you, I saw my doctor today. She said brown spotting is normal, its just old blood and not to panic, she said red or clots....that could be bad but brown blood, didn't raise a red flag for her, especially cause it wasn't much and I didn't have any cramping with it.
