Home births?

Anyone here had a home birth? Would you recommend it?

I want this baby born at home, hated being in the hospital last time. Don't want to have to give birth there again.

Only thing is Nathan was born at 35 weeks so would I still be considered for one? Obviously if baby does come early again I will go to hospital but if everything is going ok and I get past 35 weeks then will they let me have one?

Thanks

Kina had a home birth. I am planning to have one, so far everyhting is going well so its on the cards at the moment.

My midwife said that as long as the pregnancy was low risk then I was able to have one, but unfortuetly that would mean a full term baby which is classed at 37 weeks. Kina's baby arrived just before 37 weeks and she was ableto have a homebirth but itsnot always the case. The best person to talk tois yourmidwife, and discuss the options with her.

this site is great http://www.homebirth.org.uk/

Thanks Beanie I will have a look at that site.

I'll speak to the midwife when I see her and see what she says
