I lost a bit of weight at the beginning. I went to see my doc coz I was a bit worried about it but he said that the pregnancy takes care of itself and there shouldn't be a big problem but if it drops dramatically I need to go and see him again. It only lasted a few weeks though.
I lost quite a bit during the first and second tri - mainly due to bad sickness. I have lost some this end too due to illness and stress and have only put on just over a stone in total. I was worried but my baby is measuring fine, the midwife has said they are actually measuring a little bigger so I am not too worried. Your body has a habit of putting baby before you.
I bet I still look like a deflated balloon for the first year after though
