Earliest you heard the heartbeat?

Hi ladies, just like the title says. When was the earliest you heard/saw the heartbeat? Did you have the scan and saw it all in one day? Did you just see a sac and have to go back and then you saw the hb. How far along we're you then?! I'm trying to figure out if we could see mine yet. I'm still early at 6w1d and I know all pregnancies are different I'm just curious. Tell me your stories!! Thanks and happy and healthy 9 months to you ladies!

My earliest heartbeat was via ultrasound at 5w6d. My earliest via doppler was about 7 weeks with my second-born. I didn't get any of my other babies until 9-14 weeks for the first time via doppler, but I saw & heard the heart beat via ultrasound at 6w1d, 9w3d, 6w3d and 7w5d - they were all my first appointments with my babies. I never had to have a repeat ultrasound for the heartbeat, but my sister did with my nephew. His heart didn't start beating until 6w5d, and she was seeing a fertility specialist, so they were constantly doing ultrasounds.

My doctor warns that the heart doesn't always start beating before 7 weeks along, so if you want to see the heartbeat for sure, you might want to wait until then. I think it's a perfect time to make an appointment if you want this super early scan, but the baby just looks like a little blob at the moment and starts to look like an actual baby at around 8-9 weeks. Either way, it's a sweet experience, and I hope you have a perfect scan and get to see everything right away!

They found a heartbeat at 5w4d (101-103bpm). And I found the heartbeat at home with my doppler at 8w3d I believe. I did IVF so my dates are as accurate as you can get. I found my son's hb on a doppler at 8w6d, and they found a heartbeat at 5w6d in the hospital.

I had a scan at 8w3d and I saw the heartbeat (157bpm), but didn't hear it til 11w4d; the day my fetal doppler was delivered.

I first heard my daughters heartbeat at my 16 week midwife appointment ☺ She didn't want to worry us if anything wasn't there by waiting until then.

The earliest i've ever had an ultrasound was at 6 weeks. Saw and heard the heartbeat. VIA doppler it was like 10-12 weeks though.

We had an early scan at 6+2 due to bleeding and seen a little blob & a heartbeat but the consultant said before the scan they tend to not scan before 6/7 weeks. I heard his heartbeat around 7 weeks on a doppler but was quite difficult to find.

I had early scans with both due to being on clomid and saw a beating blob at 6+1 and 6+4.

I saw the heartbeat at the 12 weeks scan, midwives couldn't find it at 16 weeks due to anterior placenta, I'll see it again at my next scan as my next midwife appointment isn't for another 6 weeks.
