You know that that huge pile of clothes PROBABLY means that this one will be a girl, right?

Luckily we are getting a second son! I have made them double check several times at the scans though, just in case

Oh, I keep forgetting this thread isn't in the First Tri boards, it's in the pregnancy club, where women are at various points of their pregnancy! Well, glad to hear that beautiful mountain of clothes won't go to waste! Too bad you're not having twins!

In newborn I have 12 vest and 16 sleepsuits. If he's wee enough to fit them for any length of time that's what he'll be wearing 24/7.

In 0-3 I have: 16 sleepsuits; 16 vests; 7 pairs of bottoms; 9 tops; 2 dungarees and 3 rompers.

We have little to none of the next sizes up, so need to start on them at some point.

This is my 3rd and I didn't learn my lesson with my 2nd and got stupid amounts of stuff which he never wore. This time it will depend on the gender as I have 2 boys and expect if it's a girl I will go OTT again 😂

This time I am getting:
12 sleepsuits
12 vests
2 cardigans
2 hats
1 snow suit (due December)
2 soft outfits for special occasions

I'll get this Upto size 3-6 then I'll start getting trousers and tops and things as I'll be starting weaning etc.

If it's a girl I don't think she will wear sleepsuits in the day 🙈 Dresses and tights galore!

I'm afraid of the same especially as we aren't finding out the gender this time, I know I'm going to want to buy clothes but I don't want to buy lots because I will want to shop once baby is here and we know what we've got. Also we are starting from scratch with this baby as it's a new partner and we didn't plan to have another for a while so I got rid of all my baby stuff

I think it all depends on how much you want to do laundry. When I had my first baby, we only did laundry every 2 weeks so we made sure we had enough outfits to last 2 weeks (probably about 28) now we have 3 kids and end up having to do laundry at least once a week. We probably buy about 7-10 outfits and a few pairs of pajamas to start with. We are always buying new clothes though, so by the time they grow out of things we have way too much. I have a huge storage bin full for each size clothes. I wouldn't get too many at first... its so fun buying new things!
