Recommendations for hot drinks!

I am a nightly herbal tea drinker and have discovered, much to my chagrin, that I should not drink my regular herbal tea (especially in the first trimester).

I am hoping that some of you lovely people out there have recommendations for a relaxing (non-caffeinated) hot drink that might be safely enjoyed before bed. x

I drink chamomile tea and peppermint tea on an almost daily basis. They are both fine.

Why can't you drink herbal tea? I've never heard that. Maybe not excessively but a few cups a day is fine I'm sure, I've always done it x

I wouldn't worry about a herbal tea that you buy from the grocery store. If it's some sort of herbal loose leaf from a special tea shop it might be more potent but grocery store tea isn't to be worried about, I drank it a lot as iced tea in my previous pregnancies! But if you really want to err on the side of caution, how about hot apple cider? Hot water with lemon and honey? Hot chocolate!!
