You're worried and devastated you might be pregnant with another girl? Are you crazy...?

I'm sorry, but that's an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Who even cares providing the baby is healthy and reaches fullterm?

Particularly on a forum where there are plenty of women who are struggling to conceive or who have miscarried and would give anything for a healthy baby, male or female.

I apologise if this seems a little rude, but what you've said has really struck a chord.

its obvious that she cares whether its a boy or girl so i don't understand why you have to make a comment like that.

I hope you get your boy hon

I did this the other day, you use baking soda.

How it works is you put a bit of baking soda in a cup then put a bit of pee on top. If it fizzles, that means boy. If no fizz, girl. The "science" behind it, is that its basically a ph balance test. "They" say your urine is more acidic when you're having a boy, which causes the reaction with the soda. It could go either way, really, depending on whether your urine is more alkaline or acidic. Truly, it's just for fun.

Just because you prefer one gender to another doesn't make you a bad person!! Believe me there are people who struggle to conceive/have IVF/miscarriages who want a certain sex. I really wanted a boy and I have a healthy baby girl so far-at first I was a little disapointed but I got over that quick and am super excited and love her already more than I thought I could ever love anyone!

I seriously wouldn't even stress over those gender prediction tests...if you go by chinese calendars, wives tales, etc. not a lot of sickness-I would be having a boy and like I said I'm having a girl
