crafty moms please help?

I am making a sundress for my daughter and cannot find any type of measurements (chest size, length) that I need to go by. Unfortunately the pattern doesn't give it to me either. I am hoping this can be her coming home outfit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thats odd?? Are you using a paper pattern?? It should have different marking on it so that you can choose what size to make? x

Crochet patterns aren't like sowing. They usually have a gauge and you measure your work before beginning to that gauge and if you get what the person gets who wrote the pattern, it is a fit. My mom told me a nb's chest is 16 to 18 inches (round that is). If that is the case, it will barely fit her. I have sent a message to the author asking for measurements. It is really pretty and once it is done, I will be super proud .
