Well its different for everyone, my first two are 2yrs apart and that was fantastic, but I always said for our 3rd I'll make sure they are both at school & this is exactly how its turned out, just perfect for me.

So if you feel like ttc for another baby, I say gor for it!

They recommend waiting 18 months before falling pregnant again after a c-section, however if you feel ready, go for it!

I found my 4yr age gap to be better than all my friends small 1,2,3yr gaps. My son was ready and willing to have a baby join the family and he's took to it perfectly. Never ever had a single issues like every1 else I know has had. They talk about jealousy, child not understanding to be careful, hard work having 2 kids very young etc.

It's been a breeze!

But saying that I'm now pregnant with no.3 and my baby is only 10.5 months old so there will be a 18month age gap(15months going by her corrected age and abilities) so I'm prepared for hard work
I'm thinking the jealously thing won't be as much as an issue with a 2nd child accepting a 3rd child as she's been in a sibling household already

She'll be a bit rough and won't understand though at her age but that's to be expected, just have to keep a close eye on her.

I also had a section but not seen the mw yet to discuss problems that might cause, but I'm high risk anyway so will just be another thing to add on to my list of difficulties lol

My 4th and 5th child has 12 months and 10 days age gap and has been fantastic they are so close! was hard when i was huge preg and having a teething baby, was also hard when one started school and the other one had to wait! They say less than 18mo gap there is little or no jelousy, I think every family is different tho and whatever works for you is fine!!! Good luck!

My DS will be 3 and a half when the baby is born. For me this is perfect because DS had terrrible tantrums when he was 2 yrs old. I would never of coped with him and being pregnant.

He is now potty trained, at pre-school and much better behaved. He is also very excited about being a big brother

2.5 - 3 years is perfect for me, but then I have never tried any other! I have a friend who had twins and then another 10 months later. It was hard but easy now they are all 8-9.
