Recaro VS Maxi Cosi???

Hello there ladies.... Does anyone own either of these types of baby car seats? We've been thinking about getting the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix, but saw the Recaro Young Profi Plus today and the fact that it extends really appeals to me (as we are both so tall).

Any preferences?????

Thanks

Erica xxx

hiya i had that recaro car seat for my dd and i loved it, i got the next one up aswell 4 her now which will last her untill she dont need a booster seat as you take bits off it.

i think they are great never had a problem with them love that you can adjust the hight incase your child is long, which you might have to buy a different one if they are. plus they are so padded which i found most others are not.

My sister has given me her recaro car seat. The only downside for us is that it won't attach to the pram we are getting so were going for the cabriofix- If you plan on using a travel system with a car seat check compatibility before buying.

Thanks for that. We have an I-Candy Apple and have found out that they have adaptors for it which is very exciting! :-) The Cabriofix is almost 1kg lighter though, which is a bonus... but the height thing is more important to us (I'm 6ft, hubby is 6 ft 2!) xxx

we had the cabriofix first time round, and will be using it again! my whole family is extremely tall and poppy is seriously big, but it still lasted us to the 9 months with no problems!
