16 week babybond gender scan

Hi has anyone done this?

I can quite happily go along and still not know the gender but the reason I want to go is for my hubby.

He is in the navy and he is away for my 12 week scan, will get home a couple of weeks later then will be gone again by the time my 20 week scan comes around. He will be flown home the day before my c section so he will miss pretty much all of my pregnancy.

Last time we had a 3d scan at 29 weeks as he missed the 12 and 20 week scan last time too. He loved it and is gutted that he will miss them again.

So is it worth booking a gender scan so that he can be involved? What were your experiences? Xxxx

I had one and it was lovely, had mine at 16+3 and the lady could easily see her lady bits

Yes if I were you I would definately book in for a gender scan, I'd think it would be pretty safe to determine gender by 16weeks.

to your dh, my dh wasnt able to make it to the 19week scan with our first daughter and he was so upset, but her legs were crossed anyway so neither of us got to see what we were having, she was a beautiful surprise!

I had a gender scan at 17 weeks with DD2 and would recommend it-it was not with Babybond though. xxxxx
