The baby show - UK

Hi All,

Has anyone been to the baby shows before? Do you think they are worth going to?

I was planning to go to the one in Earls Court at the end of October but wondering it that's a good idea as I'll be 33-34 weeks pregnant by then (fingers crossed). Manchester seems to far to drive (as I live in London) and the Birmingham one is in about a week so seems to early!

If it's anything like the wedding show then no! I paid 30 for tickets for me and my Mum to go to the "national" wedding show in Birmingham and most of the suppliers were local to Birmingham and those that were national companies were ones I'd already seen online.

There were no freebies as I'd hoped for my 30 entry fee and it was literally just people selling things. Obviously the baby show may be different but I won't go in case it's the same!

Hey. I went to the baby show a few years ago and loved it! picked up some absolute bargains and freebies!

I think its worth a day out but it is tiring so beware. Also if you've already bought everything then maybe its not so worth it.

Elle xx

It's good to go to, more useful when you have the baby I think as you have more of an idea of little bits and bobs you're after.
I found that everything branded was pretty much the retail price though so for Mothercare stuff, buggies, cots etc best to buy online and get free delivery.

Not many bargains to be had apart from the last 30 mins of the last dayxx
