How heavy can implantation bleeding be?

Hi, I thought I'd ask in here as you all had bfps

I had what I thought was implantation bleeding yesterday, it was very light spotting of a pink then brown colour mixed in with CM and it only lasted for a couple of hours. I thought great as this is what people/websites have described! But today the light cramping spotting started again and it's much heavier!... Not so heavy that it looks like a period but similar to when a period starts... it hasn't filled a whole pad though throughout this whole day!

So now I'm getting worried that a) it's either my period starting early, or b) I am pregnant but losing it

It's so hard to say, I never got implantation bleeding but I have heard it is only very light pink or brown and doesn't get heavier. However, many pregnant women have light bleeding throughout their whole pregnancies. How close are you to your expected period? Maybe you could take a test?

I had implantation bleeding for 2 days, and enough to need a light pad. It really felt like the beginning of my period (so much so that I had a glass of wine) however it was the weirdest shade of pink/brown, unlike any period i've ever had. The day after it stopped I got a bfp. Good luck to you!

mine last two days started off brown like normal I got a lot of cramps like normal and bit of blood but it lasted two days not as heavy as normal but I knew it was implantation as it just stopped suddenly. best to leave it a few days if it stops suddenly do a test, you never know x

Just wanted to stop in and comment. I never had any implantation bleeding. I have pregnant with fraternal triplets and they each had to implant but still no bleeding. I was told that its actually more common to not have implantation bleeding. Good luck!!
