pelvic floor?

Hi all

Has anyone started doing pelvic floor exercises yet or is it too soon?
No one at the hospital or docs has mentioned it yet but if it gives me less chance of bladder issues later on then I am all for it. Just a little scared it will harm baby at all or is that silly?

According to my book it's fine to do them from the start of your pregnancy. I constantly forget to do them though.......

I try to do mine every day but often forget or don't do enough. I'm off on hols soon so will hopefully be starting a routine - as far as I'm aware you can do them throughout and we should all do them anyway even without being PG.....whoops!

I wish I had thought to do them this early on with my first pregnancy, I don't seem to have pelvic floor muscles anymore, even though I do the exercises, so if it's safe, go for it!!

They are the same.

I am doing 50 a day as I am trying desperately to keep my SPD at bay. I am well into the habit now

As said earlier, it is advised to do them even without pregnancy too especially if you have had vaginal birth/s as it could save a prolapse later on in life. x
