pregnancy after a c-section

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you ladies are pregnant after having a c-section? And if you feel pain from scar? At first I thought it was just the normal stretching pains, but it can be really sharp at times especially if bending or turning or lifting. Any advise would be brill x

I had 3 C sections.... Now 6 weeks preggo. I DO feel those pains. I guess it is because the area has scar tissue that is stretching?

Yep! Sometimes I feel like someone is stabbing me with needles! I rub it lightly to help. Inside feels like that too... like where the dr would have cut my uterus. It scares me into thinking I could rupture! I'm sure it's normal though....

I'm going to ask about it when I go see the midwife for booking in. It scares me too especailly with how painful they get! Its always seems to be with the slightest bend or twist of the waist. I hope it eases off a bit the bigger we get? x

I have had 2 c-sections and I'm on my 3rd pregnancy, and I don't feel a sharp pain but if I touch my scar it's very tender.

I've had 2 previous c sections... And I get sharp pains now and again right where my scar is...

I've been rubbing coconut butter over my scar to try. And soften the skin....

Did this last pregnancy, it only hurt for the first trimester but then afterwards it didn't hurt, untill I got him out x

Yep. I have pain too. It's sometimes a stabbing pain, and it's still very tender to the touch.

I got pregnant round 10 months after having a section... i have to say too that its painful and alot of stretching. This is normal though as the scar and tissues are being stretched again.

My friend who had 3 sections and then had her 4th baby via section again, also said that she had discomfort during her pregnancies
