Im scared, I have brown discharge and im 5 weeks pregnant?
I had sex with my boyfriend on thursday and I saw a hint of blood nothing really, i wasnt really that dry and im guessing he kinda teared a tissue or something. Anyways yesterday and today I been having this weird brown discharge stuff it looks like its old blood but sometimes it kinda looks like mucus with brown stuff, Idk could this be implantation bleeding or a sign of miscarrige. I mean I had cramps but they werent bad i barely felt them they were just thre and the doctor had told me it was cause my uterus was stretching. anyways has this happened to anyone? Im so scared -_-
I have had this twice. With my first pregnancy at about 5 weeks I got brown discharge and slight cramping. I did miscarry at 7weeks.
This time around again brown bleeding started at 5 weeks and changed to bright red which filled a pad and in the u/s we saw a subchorionic hematoma. After some rest and lots of water, by 6 weeks it resolved on its own. But the dark brown blood continued till 8 weeks. I will be 9 weeks tomorrow and things have been pretty normal. Hopefully, the bean is growing properly.
This is only for your info and I do not wish to freak you out. Just letting you know that it can be either ways...so hope for the best, hon.
Brown bleeding is actually very common in early pregnancy and most women carry on to have healthy babies.
Think happy thoughts! Wish you all the best!!
hey there. spotting can be normal in pregnancy but you should mention it to your doctor at your next visit. i had tan colored spotting for a week from weeks 4-5 with last one, then it started again, but dark brown at week 7 and lasted till week 9 when we found out baby had died at 7 weeks. i had no pain whatsoever. this pregnancy, had the same dark brown spotting once at 7 weeks....tappered off to tan color for the following week, but have had 2 scans and baby is fine. i dont mean to scare you, just sharing my experience. i hope all is well.
I had sex last night and this morning I had bright pink spotting! I was a little freaked but quickly remembered I had the same type of spotting at 7 weeks with my healthy little boy. I wouldn't worry too much unless it picks up and you're bleeding red!
