With my last pregnancy my OB said I could take B6 and Unisom to help with morning sickness, but it was so bad she put me on a prescription instead.

Vitamin B6 and Emetrol are both on my list of meds I can take for MS. Of course if it's really bad you can get a prescription. I have all day MS which has made it difficult for me to eat because I feel so awful so I now have a prescription for Zofran. Of course, that is causing horrible constipation so I've traded one problem for another it seems.

I have been taking Vitamin B Complex since before conception and I am 6wks 4 days today. I dont know if that is why I have not had any morning sickness thus far, but it's possible?

MS didn't really start for me until 7 weeks. Of course you may be one of the lucky ones not to get it too.

i take pregnacare which has the B6 in it, i'd hate to think what my sickness would be if i didn't take it, i'm pretty much heaving 5 -6 times a day, feeling sick on and off most the day, only been sick once and that was the tinist amount. i'd say it helps, take it in the evening though as i've heard it workd better then

It absolutely is working for me, as a matter of fact I came here about to start a thread about it and here you were! I've been taking it for 5 days now and wanted to see how well it really worked for me before posting about it. In my past pregnancies my Ms sickness was MUCH more severe than this one (hospitalized several times, vomiting several times a day until giving birth). This time around its been more typical - occasional vomiting but constant horrible nausea. My Dr told me to take vitamin B6 25 Mg 3 times a day. (I could only find it in 50 Mg so I split them in half) She also said to take Unisom 12.5 Mg before bed. (This comes in 25 Mg so also has to be split in half) With the Unisom it has to be the one that says Doxylamine - There is another Unisom with a different ingredient on the front of the box that is not the right one. Since taking these as prescribed I feel alive again! NO vomiting, I feel great in the morning, and have only felt nausea creeping in when I realized I forgot to take my next dose! Please try it - I'm sure it wouldn't have been enough for me with my other pregnancies just because it was SO severe but I am so grateful for it this time around! I hope it works for you!
