I really can't believe this... gave birth to Carolina, my first LO on 15th June and having done the test and been to the doctor because I really couldn't quite believe it, I am pregnant for the 2nd time!!

Very happy...but very scared as well!! Can't quite believe this has happened, I thought this wasn't supposed to be able to happen... eek!

OH is in shock I think!

Can't really think what else to say!

Oooft! Shock! But congrats!

Ps ur really fertile after giving birth for at least 6 mOnths! It's very very easy to fall pregnant because of all the hormones etc.

My mum fell pregnant again 5 weeks after having my oldest brother lol xx

I'm 10 weeks along! So yeah... I never heard this about the 6 weeks but there you go!

Thought nothing of it (irregular after giving birth etc etc) but then decided just to check, since I'd started feeling sick again. I could be imagining it but I swear my waist is already filling out a bit. Not that I'd really got my shape back at all!

At least I don't have to worry about how DD is going to take the news...

I'm also a bit worried about work... My boss is a bit of a career woman (no kids!) and thought she'll be outwardly fine with it because she probably has to be, she's not going to like it!

a) Your daughter's got the coolest birthday on the planet (it's the same as mine!)

b) Yep - in the same situation myself - got a 22 week old little lady and I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant... 6 years of trying for number 1... one bonk required for number 2!

At least your OH is just in shock - my poor fella was getting congratulated on his sperm by my mother - NOT the conversation you want to have with your MIL!

Aww congratulations.

It will be lovely to have 2 so close in age, my younger sisters are 12 months apart in age and they get on so well, they could have been twins and people used to ask my mum if they were when they were younger.

Don't worry about what your boss will think, our big boss is a spinster and I was bricking it telling her but she was fine with it, probably cursing behind my back but what I dont know doesn't harm.
