There's a brand of spaghetti sauce called "Prego". Lots of women are using it to announce their pregnancies.

I posted a pic of our baby after he was born... I had a friend who kept making announcements about her pregnancy and the last I heard she was in labor and then no updates after that... No one is really sure what happened. I didn't want that to be me so I held off.

The Prego sauce thing doesn't really appeal to me because Prego sauce is pronounced "pray-go" not "preggo." When I saw someone's announcement using the sauce, they held up a sign that said "We're" in front of the jar of Prego, and the first thing that came to mind was "We're sauced." Haha!

Here they pronounce it "preggo"... Maybe "pray go" is a southern thing?

On commercials for the sauce they pronounce it pray-go. I think it's from the Italian.

Not here. I've noticed though that the US will VoiceOver their commercials to change the accents based on certain states... A lot of commercials here will have English accents and when we go to the US they've been changed lol
I know no one cares, I just found that weird
