I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had something similar happen during my first pregnancy. I didn't have bleeding either until days later as well. It is called a missed miscarriage when your body does not realize what happened. Since the baby did not naturally come out I had to have a d&c to clear out my uterus. As the previous poster stated I did end up having two further ultrasounds to confirm that the baby's heartbeat stopped before the surgery to make sure I made the right decision.

It was a very rough time and very sad but it is not the end, you can try again when you are ready to.

I hope you have some supportive people around you during this rough time.

The procedure went very smoothly as far as those procedures go, although mentally it was a rough time. You get medicine to go to sleep during the procedure, or at least I did, so I just woke up after it was finished. I bled for about 1 week afterwards like a period and a month later AF came to visit again although I did not ovulate that month, my body was still screwed up.

I did research about the procedure in advance so I knew about the risks and discussed everything with my Dr.

So sorry this has happened to you it's so awful the same happened to me in my first pregnancy also. Had an early scan at 7w and there was a hb and then went for dating scan at 13 weeks and they said the baby had died at 8.5 w I chose to have the medical management over the d &c which involves taking medication and passing the baby and products of conception. It's an awful thing to happen to anyone and is so confusing not to mention traumatic. I have since gone on to have a child and I am early pregnant again so please don't think that this will affect your future chances.

So sorry once again xx

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks (the baby stopped growing shortly after my 6 week ultrasound) and I had no pain or bleeding at all so it was a shock. I had a d&c as I had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks before and it was so painful and my body wasn't responding to the miscarriage anyways. I am very glad I had the d&c vs waiting it out but I did have a confirmation scan before the procedure to double check everything. Good luck with everything.

so sorry for you huni xoxox

I had a mmc ... stopped growing at 7 weeks and didn't get any pain or bleeding til 11 ...

I was bleeding very bad and in a lot of pain so I had a d&c and it doesn't hurt.
they put you to sleep and when you wake up it's mostly just emotional pain....

I hope that they were wrong tho... but if not I just take it that it's God's way of telling us something isn't right.
I am now nearly 7 weeks pregnant and crossing my fingers with this one too...

I wish you all the best huni and lots of hugs. it's hard but u will get through
