you can take paracetamol, and yep, weeing alot is vvvvv common!! Your uterus is growing and puts pressure on your bladder, after 12-13 weeks your uterus will lift and wont put as much strain on your uterus and you wont need to wee as much lol! xxxx make sure your drinking plenty though, and you can also try those cool sheets to go on ure forehead, I swear by them xxx

It's also from the extra circulation, you actually ARE making more pee. As Rozz said, it will ease into the second trimester, and then once baby starts dancing on your bladder it'll come back again

Yup, the first thing the uterus grows into is your bladder, and all the extra hormones produce more wee too.

This book is great for explaining all kinds of weird pregnancy things!! http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-Expect-.../dp/1847373755

I actually got a lot more thirsty starting a few days before my bfp, so I've just attributed all the extra peeing to all the extra fluid intake!

As the other ladies said, the uterus presses on your bladder in the beginning but as you get farther along the uterus will lift and you won't feel the need to urinate as often. I was so relieved when I stopped having to use the bathroom multiple times in the middle of the night. Then of course, the frequent urination returns in the third trimester when the baby starts pressing on your bladder.
