i have flutterings now and i am convinced its baby, 13weeks i am with my second. never felt a thing until 24 weeks last time though, although i remember someone asking if i get butterflies and i was like yeah, but cant feel baby. So apparently i had felt her and just not realised.

I think so early on its probably gas though.

They say with your second you just know what movement actually feels like, so you can tell sooner.
The first time I felt Betty move it sorta felt like an eye twitch.

I don't think it's the baby in EARLY pregnancy. Most 2nd time Moms feel the baby before 15weeks, but the 1st timers normally identify the flutters as baby about 20-25weeks.

I think what you are experiencing is gas.

I felt the first bit of bubbles at 10 weeks, again at 12 weeks, then started a bit more often around 15/16 weeks.

I have never heard of anyone feeling baby move before they knew they were pg. Feeling baby at 10 weeks is very very early to feel them. Most don't feel them until 15 weeks or so --- surely most ppl would know they were pg by then?

I was trying to explain this to OH earlier, twice today just for a few seconds I have felt flutters, kind of like tiny muscle spasms down in there somewhere, but I assumed they were not pregnancy related because it's way to early.

"tiny muscle spasms" sound more like stretching pains (which are not always painful). Especially in early pg. Baby movement feels like a fluttering of bubbles. Not really like muscle spasms at all. The stretching pains can start very very early and are a good sign that everything is progressing normally.

I'm loving hearing that it's a good sign, I'd just thought it was unrelated because of only just being pg

Thanks TigerLady
