Bleeding - 8 weeks pregnant

Hi

I'm sure this has probably been discussed before so I'm sorry but I'm just in a bit of a panic.

I'm 8 and a half weeks pregnant and I've had a few clots of blood appear today. It must be too late for the implantation bleed so what else could it be?

I'm really worried something could be wrong...

If its clots id go to a+e or phone your out of hours gp and get checked out. It could be nothing but it always better to get checked. I had bleeding all way through my pregnancy and i now have a healthy baby.

When you say clots, how big/little? Is the blood red/brown?

Quite small and bright red. There's only been a few, it's really not very heavy

Thanks for all your replies. Just phoned the midwives at UCH and they say I shouldn't worry unless it gets heavier or I have any cramps.

They also asked had I been overdoing it lately or under any stress and to be honest I have to say yes to both - we're moving house in a few weeks and I've been packing and organising and stressing about stupid things...

So hopefully it won't get any worse, and i'm gonna put my feet up and let the hubby do all the work... it's just not worth risking the baby for.
