pain in belly right below belly button towards left side?

I been having weird sharp pain that comes and goes in one spot I think around where my uterus is located right now, just below my belly button and a lil bit to the left of the belly button, it's been coming and going all day. Lasts like 2 seconds and sharp, like a poking me with a sharp something for 2 seconds and than it goes away, but it has been coming back pretty much all day. Anyone has any idea what this could be?

also, tonight i stood up and really sharp pain went into my vaginal area from my belly, freaked me out but went away in like 5 seconds.

what is going on??anyone else felt stuff like this.

i'm 13 weeks and 4 days

Thanks missy1, I really hope that's all that it is. Your response made my nerves calm down a bit, I been panicking about it all day. Just so stressful to feel all this and not know what is going.

I know what you mean. I was the same when I was pregnant with my daughter because it's all new isn't it? I got so worried about every little pain and twinge. This time I'm more relaxed because it is the exact same as before. I've pasted in a link above that explains all about round ligament pain in the abdomen x

its the great ligament pain! also the vagina pain is due to pressure on your cervix, all normal symptoms:-)

It's also worth remembering that your digestion slows so u have more gas. It could be trapped causing the pain or constipation. I have found the better I eat the less pains I have.

thanks for the response ladies, feeling a little better today. I'm thinking it's most likely ligament pain now that i read about it, it sounds about right. When is this ligament pain suppose to stop?? does it ever go away or we should feel it all pregnancy?

Mine comes and goes, I don't think it will fully disappear as the baby is constantly growing
