I'm getting very worried about how hot I've been getting during the night. I always start off freezing and have to wrap up, but by morning I'm waking up sweating and burning up. My oh told me this morning i was even hot to the touch.
I'm worried that this will hurt the beans little brain I know you're not meant to sauna because of the heat. I never wake up until I'm already boiling, and don't even kick the covers off. I'm going to get a lighter duvet, but could I have already hurt him? I'm very worried
No no dont worry we are all hot stuff at the minute because of the beans it wont hurt at all, your body is also used to the heat because you are not kicking the blankets off. My OH complains about it all the time he has to sleep on to of the duvet most nights and moans he cant touch me I am so warm eek
yeah I wake up all sweaty and gross. DH is a nightmare to sleep with when it's hot because he gets so hot it's like sleeping in the sun. Last night he was radiating so much heat I actually moved my pillow to the other end of the bed and we slept top to tail.
I wouldn't worry too much, maybe we should get fans? People who live in hot countries must get sweatier and more gross than us.
I know this may sound like a really obvious and stupid suggestion but for those in the UK i'm surprised how many people in this ever increasingly hot summers country (okay it's only for about a week or two but it gets hot!) still don't sleep with a little oscillating fan in the room on nights like last night.
It's the difference between heaven and hell! It's BLISS! and you can get a large fan (12 inch) desktop for about £15 and smaller ones for under a tenner and if you treat them well they last YEARS!!!! (had mine since 2004!)
Very common in pregnancy, I was already getting the hot/cold thing going on before I even found out I was pregnant. It was a huge tip off. You won't hurt the baby at all, they are all nice and cocooned up, plus they are used to the warmth.
One of my symptoms too, complete nightmare as like you am use to being cold and hubby has been pulling the duvet off me whilst I am sleeping as I am just so hot. Dont worry though cos like I said it is a symptom of pregnancy rather than a danger to bubs x
Me too. I fall asleep with the blanket tight over me and wake up in a hot sweat. I was always a really cold person so this was a bit of a shock. I also rarely sweat even at the gym (just get a big red face) and now I wake up and my back and chest are wet and my straight hair is wavy...
