Maternity clothes

When did you start wearing them during first pregnancy? I'm so bloated that by the end of the day everything is too tight. I'm so wary of doing anything before 12 week scan though.

This is my first, but what I am going to do is buy my usual style of clothes, but in a few sizes bigger! I don't want to loose my style! I am only 5+5 and fine so far...

With my first I was wearing them by 11 weeks. 10 weeks with my second. 8 weeks with my third and 6 weeks this time around. There is nothing more comfortable then properly fitted maternity clothes. Because for most women they only get bigger through the belly and bust, so wearing bigger regular clothes will make them bigger everywhere (legs, thighs, etc) I love my mat clothes.

I started wearing tops and dresses around week 10 and 11 since my bump was stretching out my regular ones (my jeans naturally sit low on my hips so I'm still good wearing them at least!). I was surprised how cute some of the maternity clothes are if you know where to look!

This is my first. I started wearing loose fitting tops and dresses around week 14 and bought my first pair of maternity jeans at week 17. I really didn't start showing until after week 20, but the pants I got were much more comfortable and allowed me to move easier.

Leggings and dresses/long tops this time round for me.
I spent a fortune on mat clothes last time, sold them on eBay.
I may invest in a good pair of next over the bump jeans though

This is my first pregnancy, but I bought a pair of maternity pants at about 9 weeks. My jeans were just getting a bit snug and I could only fit into 1 pair of my regular jeans comfortably. Of course that's all from bloat and everything but they are SOOO comfy. Now that I have a tiny bump starting, the maternity pants were a good buy. I will be out of my regular jeans in no time.
