Blood Results!

So I got a call from my OB this morning. My blood work from yesterday came in.
Progesterone was at 17
Hcg was at 66.7

Doc wants me to start taking prometrium? Until 12 weeks. And get blood drawn every 2 days for a couple of weeks.

I don't know how I feel about all this..

If you're thinking that taking the prometrium will stop nature from taking it's course, it won't. If something is so terribly wrong with baby that a mc would happen, the prometrium won't stop it from happening. I was on it with my last 2 mc's. (wasn't sure if that was what you were talking about when you said "messing with the nature of it")

Some of us just have low progesterone (and yours is not terribly low) that we need help to sustain an otherwise healthy pregnancy.

Congratulations and good luck!!

how many dpo were you when the blood was drawn? 17 doesn't seem very low.. the suplements may just make your symptoms more noticeable.
