My cats have been the same. Neither of them are particularly lap cattish but for the last few weeks they've been really clingy and laying on my belly at night.

One of the cats has been really protective and growls at the other cat if he tries to get too close.

They are funny creatures!

My dog is back to sitting on my tummy as we speak. Makes things very awkward when trying to use a laptop lol

my oldest dog is 8 years old and hasn't wanted to cuddle in years. But since I've been pregnant, he gets up in my lap about every night and lays right on my stomach. I've never even considered that they can hear the heart beat! that's sweet!

Wow this is amazing! I'm nearly 9 weeks now and my puppy has to licking my belly which he doesn't usually do. He's a collie and used to jumping all over me but now he's really careful of my tummy. I never figured he'd be able to hear a heartbeat!

My baby is only 7 months old, so I think that could be why she's not so in tune as some of your pets are. She still a little baby herself
